MudHogs Cheer - A Squad, Ages 11+
Welcome to the Farmington Valley MudHogs Travel Sideline and Competitive Cheer program! GENERAL INFORMATION:A Squad: 11-14 years old as of 7/31/25 (Not Entering 9th Grade) B Squad: 9-10 years old as of 7/31/25 C Squad: 7-8 years old as of 7/31/25 PRACTICE SCHEDULES (TENTATIVE): Preseason practices will begin July 28 running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Practice location is TBD. The regular season practice schedule is expected to start August 25 running through December, depending upon competition advancement. Practices will be held twice per week. Practice days, times and locations are TBD. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION/COMMITMENTS: - Paperwork drop-off and uniform fitting/pick-up day prior to regular season practices. - 4 Weeks of Preseason. We understand some vacations may conflict, but we do encourage full attendance at all costs. Welcome to the Farmington Valley MudHogs Tackle Division, the elite, Super Bowl winning program of the Farmington Valley! GENERAL INFORMATION:Team conditioning will start on July 28 running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Full team practices will start on August 4, running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Practice locations TBD. The week of August 25 through the end of the season, practices will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday same time (coach may choose to practice on different days), until we lose daylight, at which point, any changes in schedule will be communicated. A Squad (Grades 7/8) will conduct video practices on Mondays and walk through practices on select Saturdays beginning the week of August 28. A Squad (Grades 7/8), B Squad (Grades 5 & 6), and C Squad (Grades 2-4) roster space is limited. If registration exceeds 28 players there will be tryouts. Tryouts will occur from July 28 until Aug 15 at practices. We are hoping to entertain the idea of a developmental team this year. Games for all squads will be held Sundays beginning August 31. We will play approximately seven games in order to play all teams in the Nutmeg Youth Football League. Playoffs start on November 2 and will continue until a champion is declared per division on November 16. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed to registrations accepted beginning Tuesday, July 1. Registration will close on July 3 at 3:00 PM or when teams fill all available spots. Spots ARE limited, so please be sure to register early! MudHogs Tackle Football - MudHogs - A Squad
Welcome to the Farmington Valley MudHogs Tackle Division, the elite, Super Bowl winning program of the Farmington Valley! GENERAL INFORMATION:Team conditioning will start on July 28 running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Full team practices will start on August 4, running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Practice locations TBD. The week of August 25 through the end of the season, practices will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday same time (coach may choose to practice on different days), until we lose daylight, at which point, any changes in schedule will be communicated. A Squad (Grades 7/8) will conduct video practices on Mondays and walk through practices on select Saturdays beginning the week of August 28. A Squad (Grades 7/8), B Squad (Grades 5 & 6), and C Squad (Grades 2-4) roster space is limited. If registration exceeds 28 players there will be tryouts. Tryouts will occur from July 28 until Aug 15 at practices. We are hoping to entertain the idea of a developmental team this year. Games for all squads will be held Sundays beginning August 31. We will play approximately seven games in order to play all teams in the Nutmeg Youth Football League. Playoffs start on November 2 and will continue until a champion is declared per division on November 16. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed to registrations accepted beginning Tuesday, July 1. MudHogs Cheer - A Squad, Ages 11+
Welcome to the Farmington Valley MudHogs Travel Sideline and Competitive Cheer program! GENERAL INFORMATION:A Squad: 11-14 years old as of 7/31/25 (Not Entering 9th Grade) B Squad: 9-10 years old as of 7/31/25 C Squad: 7-8 years old as of 7/31/25 PRACTICE SCHEDULES (TENTATIVE): Preseason practices will begin July 28 running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Practice location is TBD. The regular season practice schedule is expected to start August 25 running through December, depending upon competition advancement. Practices will be held twice per week. Practice days, times and locations are TBD. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION/COMMITMENTS: - Paperwork drop-off and uniform fitting/pick-up day prior to regular season practices. - 4 Weeks of Preseason. We understand some vacations may conflict, but we do encourage full attendance at all costs. It is mandatory to attend at least three weeks total of preseason practice, and mandatory to attend the last week prior to August 25. - Choreography Day: TBD (1 day, during last week of preseason – MANDATORY for all athletes). - Regular season practices begin the week of August 25, and mandatory attendance is required. - Weekend Games - Weekend Showcase - Two to Four Competitions*Please note that any athlete under the age of 7 as of 7/31/2025 does not meet the age requirements to register for our Fall season cheer squads. However, please consider attending our summer cheer skills clinic in June – all athletes in grades K-8 are welcome to attend! More information regarding this clinic will be sent closer to June and we hope to see your athletes there! Squads will be capped and will max out.
