Our Pilates class with Bridget Bussiere is a foundational class focusing on strength, stability, and flexibility in a kind, welcoming environment.  Who Can Join? This is an adult workout, but infants and children are welcome to attend and socialize during our outdoor programs! Please bring a yoga mat and water. 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM    Premier Fitness Alliance: Soccer - Summer Soccer Training
Our Elite Performance Prep Clinic, provided by Premier Fitness Alliance, is a 6-week intensive training series designed to prepare athletes for the physical and tactical demands of a competitive high school season. This program provides a professional environment for Farmington residents to sharpen their technical skills, increase their speed of play, and enter the fall season with an unstoppable mindset. Program Highlights Technical Precision: High-repetition drills focusing on elite first touch, ball mastery, and clinical passing accuracy under pressure. Competitive Small-Sided Drills: High-intensity training blocks that capitalize on Farmington’s strong competitive nature to drive rapid player development. Elite Conditioning: Soccer-specific metabolic conditioning to ensure players arrive at tryouts with a peak competitive engine. High School Readiness: A specific focus on helping athletes adapt to the increased speed of play and heightened physicality of high school athletics. Eligibility Participants: Open to all high school-age Farmington residents (Male and Female). Incoming Freshmen: 9th-grade participants are highly encouraged to attend to begin their transition to the high school level and connect with the Farmington High School soccer community. Our Elite Performance Prep Clinic, provided by Premier Fitness Alliance, is a 6-week intensive training series designed to prepare athletes for the physical and tactical demands of a competitive high school season. This program provides a professional environment for Farmington residents to sharpen their technical skills, increase their speed of play, and enter the fall season with an unstoppable mindset. Program Highlights Technical Precision: High-repetition drills focusing on elite first touch, ball mastery, and clinical passing accuracy under pressure. Competitive Small-Sided Drills: High-intensity training blocks that capitalize on Farmington’s strong competitive nature to drive rapid player development. Elite Conditioning: Soccer-specific metabolic conditioning to ensure players arrive at tryouts with a peak competitive engine. High School Readiness: A specific focus on helping athletes adapt to the increased speed of play and heightened physicality of high school athletics. Eligibility Participants: Open to all high school-age Farmington residents (Male and Female). Incoming Freshmen: 9th-grade participants are highly encouraged to attend to begin their transition to the high school level and connect with the Farmington High School soccer community. This program provides a professional environment for Farmington residents to sharpen their technical skills, increase their speed of play, and enter the fall season with an unstoppable mindset. Program Highlights Technical Precision: High-repetition drills focusing on elite first touch, ball mastery, and clinical passing accuracy under pressure. Competitive Small-Sided Drills: High-intensity training blocks that capitalize on Farmington’s strong competitive nature to drive rapid player development. Elite Conditioning: Soccer-specific metabolic conditioning to ensure players arrive at tryouts with a peak competitive engine. Our Elite Performance Prep Clinic, provided by Premier Fitness Alliance, is a 6-week intensive training series designed to prepare athletes for the physical and tactical demands of a competitive high school season. This program provides a professional environment for Farmington residents to sharpen their technical skills, increase their speed of play, and enter the fall season with an unstoppable mindset. Program Highlights Technical Precision: High-repetition drills focusing on elite first touch, ball mastery, and clinical passing accuracy under pressure. Competitive Small-Sided Drills: High-intensity training blocks that capitalize on Farmington’s strong competitive nature to drive rapid player development. Elite Conditioning: Soccer-specific metabolic conditioning to ensure players arrive at tryouts with a peak competitive engine. This program is designed to be inclusive, affordable, and beneficial for all participants.Program objectives include Skill Development, Physical Fitness, Team Building, Fun, and Engagement. Our High School Sports Out-of-Season Summer Training program is an excellent opportunity for student-athletes to stay active, improve their skills, and enjoy the summer with their peers. We look forward to a successful and enjoyable training season.Program participants must be Farmington residents and must attend Farmington High School in order to register and participate.*Non-residents that attend Farmington High School may email Farmington Recreation at recreation@farmington-ct.org to request to register.

Summer Rowing Clinics, Entering Grades 8&9Come learn to row at Farmington's Boathouse at Tunxis Mead in this two-week introductory clinic for those entering grades 8&9.  Participants will learn all about the sport of rowing while having fun on the beautiful Farmington River! Participants will need to complete a swim safety test on the first day. Please come prepared with water, sunscreen, and workout clothes (hat, t-shirt, compression shorts, and sneakers).Summer Rowing Clinics, Entering Grades 10 - 12These clinics are for experienced coxswains and rowers who are looking to improve their technique and fitness. Over the course of two weeks, campers will refine their technical skills, boost their fitness levels, and build friendships with future team mates! Participants will need to complete a swim safety test on the first day.  Please come prepared with water, sunscreen, and workout clothes (hat, t-shirt, compression shorts, and sneakers).*Coxswains and Rowers in the Intermediate/Advanced levels should register appropriately below.**We are required to have 9 participants per boat for our Intermediate/Advanced Program. If/when we don't have a factor of 9, we may need to cancel a portion of the program.***In the event that the participant does not pass the swim test, they will be required to wear a personal flotation device provided by the Town of Farmington in order to participate.
