MudHogs Tackle Football - MudHogs - A Squad Welcome to the Farmington Valley MudHogs Tackle Division, the elite, Super Bowl winning program of the Farmington Valley. GENERAL INFORMATION: Team conditioning will be held Monday - Thursday, July 27 - August 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Full team practices will be held Monday - Thursday, August 10 - 27 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Practice locations are To Be Determined. Regular season practices will be held Tuesday through Thursday, September 1 - mid-November from 6:00 – 8:00PM. A Squad (Grades 7/8), B Squad (Grades 5 & 6), and C Squad (Grades 2-4) roster space is limited. If registration exceeds 28 players there will be tryouts. Tryouts will be held during regular practices beginning July 27. We are hoping to be able to continue to have an A Squad and a JV team again this year. Games for all squads will be held Sundays and occasionally Saturday’s beginning August 30. We will play approximately eight games to play all teams in the Nutmeg Youth Football League. Playoffs start in November and will continue until a champion is declared. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed to registrations accepted beginning Tuesday, July 1. Registration will close on July 3 at 3:00 PM or when teams fill all available spots. Spots ARE limited, so please be sure to register early! TEAM PLACEMENT INFORMATION: Please register your child below for the grade they will be in effective September 1. If you have questions regarding weights and qualifications, please see the Nutmeg League Rules of Play. MudHogs Tackle Football C Squad - Players must be registered in grade 2 - 4 and cannot turn 11 years old before September 1. MudHogs Tackle Football B Squad - Players must be registered in grade 5 or 6 and cannot turn 13 years old before September 1.
