Imagine the excitement on your daughter’s face as she crosses the finish line of her very first race! Our Girls In Stride running program welcomes participants of all experience levels in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Through engaging games, creative drills, and team-building activities, runners will build confidence, develop healthy habits, and discover that fitness can be fun.Whether your daughter is new to running or looking to boost performance for other sports, this program helps her grow athletically while strengthening self-esteem. Along the way, participants will explore goal-setting, training journals, basic nutrition, and positive mental strategies to support their overall wellness.Goal Race: MPower Youth Running Festival on November 8th at Farmington High School.  More details will be provided in the program welcome email.  Race participation is optional.Rain Location: Irving A. Robbins Middle School Gymnasium If the gymnasium is unavailable due to FPS events, a one-class credit will be added to each participant’s Farmington Recreation account to be used toward any future program.Policies & General Information

Finishing a 5K is an impressive achievement at any age. Imagine the sense of accomplishment and pride your son will feel when he crosses the finish line of the MPower Youth Sports 5K on Sunday, November 8! MPower Boys Running will prepare him to do just that. Modeled after popular Couch-to-5K plans, MPower’s training program is designed for all levels of runners: from very beginners to experienced racers. We will concentrate on proper form and pacing while we build endurance over the weeks through a combination of running drills, games and core strength exercises. Race registration is not included in the program fee and is not required to participate in this great program!Rain location - Union School, 173 School Street, UnionvillePolicies & General Information
