REC Adventure 1
Join Farmington Recreation for the ultimate extreme adventure experience! All excursions and transportation are included! This program is the perfect opportunity for your child to challenge themselves, learn life skills, build confidence, make new friends and get outside!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Campers MUST weigh a minimum of 100 lbs. to participate in Thursday's Berkshire East Canopy Tours. Program fee is not prorated if child does not meet minimum weight requirement.

A suggested, optional gratuity of a minimum of $10.00 per person is requested on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday trips. These are for our wonderful professional mates and guides on the fishing trip, whitewater rafting trip, and zip lining trip. Please be reminded these gratuities are optional. They will be collected by Recreation Staff each day and distributed amongst the mates and guides.

Waivers for each trip will be distributed to families upon the close of registration and must completed by a date TBD.

Departure and return times vary each day, and may range between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Monday, July 7: The Adventure Park at Storrs
We'll hit the tree tops with participants enjoying unique ropes course climbing challenges! Rope and wood bridges, zip lines, platforms - This park has it all!

Tuesday, July 8: Deep Sea Fishing
Time to wet a line aboard the Sunbeam Fleet with Captain John's Sport Fishing Center! This trip will target either striped bass and blues, or porgy, fluke, and sea bass depending on the fishing reports. Rod and reel rentals included!

Wednesday, July 9: Zoar Outdoor Rafting
Participants will enjoy over 6 miles of Class I and II rapids, as well as the highlight of the trip, the class III Zoar Gap! This is the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Enjoy lots of laughs, beautiful scenery, and whitewater rafting!

Thursday, July 10: Berkshire East Canopy Tours
The Grand Finale of our week of adventure! Participants will complete a zip line tour through the Berkshires. The tour's X1 and X2 zips are over a half mile long! PARTICIPANTS MUST WEIGH A MINIMUM OF 100 LBS. TO ATTEND THIS TRIP.

Campers should bring their own lunch, snack and beverage unless otherwise noted. Specific scheduling and program information will be distributed prior to the first day of camp. Departure and return times vary each day, and may range between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
