REC Adventure 1
Join Farmington Recreation for the ultimate extreme adventure experience! All excursions and transportation are included! This program is the perfect opportunity for your child to challenge themselves, learn life skills, build confidence, make new friends and get outside!

REGISTER BY FRIDAY, JUNE 7 AND RECEIVE A REC ADVENTURE CAMP TEE!

Campers must weigh a minimum of 100 lbs. to participate.

Departure and return times vary each day, and may range between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Monday, July 8: Empower Leadership & The Adventure Park at Storrs
We will start our week with staff from Empower Leadership facilitating their signature high-energy ground-based adventure teen camp challenge. After lunch, we'll hit the tree tops with participants enjoying unique ropes course climbing challenges! Rope and wood bridges, zip lines, platforms - This park has it all!

Tuesday, July 9: Brownstone Adventure Sports Park
Cool off at Connecticut's #1 Water Park! Zip line into the water, make a splash at the Rope Swing, climb Inflatable Water Obstacles, or relax in our private gazebo!

Wednesday, July 10: Zoar Outdoor Whitewater Rafting
Participants will enjoy over 6 miles of Class I and II rapids, as well as the highlight of the trip, the class III Zoar Gap! This is the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Enjoy lots of laughs, beautiful scenery, and whitewater rafting as we wrap up the week on a high, and very wet note!

Thursday, July 11: Berkshire East Canopy Tours
The Grand Finale of our week of adventure! Participants will complete a zip line tour through the Berkshires. The tour's X1 and X2 zips are over a half mile long!

Campers should bring their own lunch, snack and beverage unless otherwise noted. Specific scheduling and program information will be distributed prior to the first day of camp. Departure and return times vary each day, and may range between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
