Farmington Valley MudHogs Tackle Football... A championship winning program of the Farmington Valley!

The Farmington Valley MudHogs are a Travel Team and roster space is limited.

Due to limited coaches, equipment, and field space, the program can only support a limited number of players for tryouts.  We highly recommend you register early to ensure your child has the opportunity to tryout.

*Registration for tryouts is FREE through June 30. A non-refundable $25.00 registration fee will be charged beginning July 1.

**Those selected to play MudHogs Tackle Football will be required to make payment of $299.00 no later than Thursday, August 22.

TRYOUTS/PRESEASON PRACTICE
Tryouts will be held Monday through Thursday, July 29 - August 15 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM (Location TBD). 

Preseason practices shall continue to be held Monday - Thursday, August 19 - 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM (Location TBD).

*Equipment is mandatory for tryouts and requires a $50.00 refundable deposit payable to the Farmington Valley MudHogs.

REGULAR SEASON PRACTICE
Regular season practices will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning August 26 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Farmington High School. 

In addition, A Squad (Grades 7/8) will conduct video practices on Mondays from 7:00 - 8:00 PM and a walk through practice on Saturday mornings. Please click here for more information.

REGULAR SEASON GAMES
Games will be held on Sundays beginning September 1. The Farmington Valley MudHogs will play eight regular season games.

Nutmeg League playoffs start on October 27, with the championship held on November 17.

*These dates are subject to change pending the Nutmeg League schedule.  Final dates will be confirmed in August.

TEAM PLACEMENT INFORMATION:
Please register your child below for the grade they will be in effective September 1.  If you have questions regarding weights and qualifications, please see the Nutmeg League Rules of Play.

MudHogs Tackle Football C Squad - Players must be registered in grade 4 and under and cannot turn 11 years old before September 1.

MudHogs Tackle Football B Squad - Players must be registered in grade 5 or 6 and cannot turn 13 years old before September 1.

MudHogs Tackle Football A Squad - Players must be registered in grade 7 or 8 and cannot turn 15 years old before September 1.
