MudHogs Cheer
Welcome to the Farmington Valley MudHogs Travel Sideline and Competitive Cheer Program!
GENERAL INFORMATION:
A Squad: 11 - 14 years old as of 7/1/26 (Not Entering 9th Grade)
B Squad: 9 & 10 years old as of 7/1/26
C Squad: 7 & 8 years old as of 7/1/26
*Any athlete under the age of 7 as of 7/1/26 does not meet the age requirement but may attend the Summer Skills Clinic.
**2025 MudHogs Cheer (A Squad) participants may register beginning Tuesday, May 26 at 9:00 AM. Those new to the MudHogs Cheer (A Squad) may begin registering on Monday, June 1 at 9:00 AM.
PRACTICE SCHEDULES (TENTATIVE):
Preseason practices will be held Monday - Thursday, July 27 - August 20 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. *Athletes must attend at least 3 weeks of preseason practice including the week of August 17 - 20 (Choreography Week).
Regular season practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, August 25 tentatively through December 10 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. *Athletes must attend all practices.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION/COMMITMENTS:
1) All athletes must attend the uniform fitting and paperwork drop-off prior to the regular season.

- 8/23/26, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Community & Senior Ctr.)
2) All athletes must attend weekend games, home and away.
3) All athletes must attend the Weekend family Showcase (date/time TBD).
4) All athletes must attend 3 - 4 mandatory cheer competitions.
- 10/17/26: Conference Competition
- 10/31/26: CT State Competition
- 11/14/26: NE Regional Competition (If Qualified)
- 12/2/26 - 12/5/26: AYC National Competition (If Qualified)
A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed to registrations accepted beginning Tuesday, July 1. Registration will close on June 27 at 3:00 PM or when teams fill all available spots. Spots ARE limited, so please be sure to register early!
Completing Your Registration Process
Please note that registration is a three-step process. After completing registration, families will receive an email with additional instructions regarding NSID & Team Snap registration. An athlete cannot begin practice until all registration steps are completed and all forms submitted. Please complete all steps as soon as instructions are sent!
