Farmington Recreation and Farmington Youth Lacrosse (FYL) are excited to announce a special lacrosse clinic for athletes who are new to the sport! In celebration of National Celebrate Lacrosse Week, we invite youth from Kindergarten through 8th grade to experience the fun and excitement of lacrosse in a welcoming environment.
Clinic Details
- Cost: Free!
- Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. After determining the number of registrants and their age groups, one-hour time blocks will be scheduled. FYL will email registrants their clinic time.
- Who Can Attend: Youth, Kindergarten through 8th grade, who are interested in trying lacrosse for the first time.
- Location: West Woods Upper Elementary School (Gymnasium)
What to Expect
- This is a non-contact, fun introduction to lacrosse, perfect for beginners!
- All lacrosse equipment will be provided for participants for use during the clinic.
- Farmington Youth Lacrosse coaches and volunteers will lead engaging drills and games focused on fundamental skills.
- Meet new friends, learn new skills, learn about FYL's program, and discover the excitement of lacrosse!
What to Bring
- Wear sneakers and comfortable clothes suitable for active play.
- Bring a water bottle and plenty of energy!
This event is a fantastic opportunity for athletes and families to learn more about lacrosse in a supportive, friendly setting. We look forward to seeing you during the clinic as we celebrate National Lacrosse Week together!
