Recreation Ski Club
Join the Farmington Recreation Ski Club for five, after school, ski trips in January and February to nearby Ski Sundown in New Hartford. Learn the sport of skiing/snowboarding as an active option in the winter months.
Skiing/snowboarding teaches perseverance, fosters a sense of confidence, and promotes cardiovascular exercise. This is a great opportunity for new and experienced skiers and boarders to learn safety on the mountain and valuable fundamental life skills through group lessons with a trained instructor.
Students will be transported to/from Ski Sundown by bus immediately following the school day (parent drop off/pick up is not allowed). Ski Club is offered to Farmington Public School students ONLY in Grades 3 - 8.
Refer to the Ski Club Parent Information Book for a detailed look at policies, expectations, and answers to frequently asked questions.
