Walking Group - Walking Group The Walking Group typically meets on Fridays at 10:00am (Weather permitting).The group meets at a local trail/walking spot, location varies each week!Please contact the office 860-675-2492 to get on the email list!Walking will help improve circulation, shore up your bones, enjoy a longer life, lighten your mood, lose weight, strengthen muscles, improve sleep, slow down mental decline and lower Alzheimer risk. Each week we will go to a different destination and a new walking routine. The group will focus on posture, foot motion, using your arms properly and walking drills.. Make sure you bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes. All fitness levels are welcome.

Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26–40 round holes, over a net. Board Games - Chess American Mah Jongg: A game of Chinese origin, usually played by four people, in which tiles bearing various designs are drawn and discarded until one player has an entire hand of winning combinationsChess: A board game of strategic skill for two players, played on a checkered board. Each player begins the game with sixteen pieces that are moved and used to capture opposing pieces according to precise rules. The object is to put the opponent's king under a direct attack from which escape is impossible (checkmate).Mexican Train Dominoes: A game played with dominoes. The object of the game is for a player to play all the tiles from his or her hand onto one or more chains, or trains, emanating from a central hub or "station".Rummikub: A tile-based game for 2 to 4 players, combining elements of the card game rummy and mah jongg.Scrabble: A word game in which two to four players score points by placing tiles, each bearing a single letter, onto a game board divided into a 15×15 grid of squares. The tiles must form words that, in crossword fashion, read left to right in rows or downward in columns, and be included in a standard dictionary.

In its basic format, it is played by four players in two competing partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other around a tableCribbage: a card game for two to four players, in which the objective is to play so that the value of one's cards played reaches exactly 15 or 31. Pickleball - Senior 50+ - Pickleball Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to a racket sport) that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26–40 round holes, over a net. Walking Group - Walking Group The Walking Group typically meets on Fridays at 10:00am (Weather permitting).The group meets at a local trail/walking spot, location varies each week!Please contact the office 860-675-2492 to get on the email list!Walking will help improve circulation, shore up your bones, enjoy a longer life, lighten your mood, lose weight, strengthen muscles, improve sleep, slow down mental decline and lower Alzheimer risk. Each week we will go to a different destination and a new walking routine. The group will focus on posture, foot motion, using your arms properly and walking drills.. Make sure you bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes. All fitness levels are welcome.
